3rd Annual Research Symposium on Tobacco and the Environment

This year’s theme is Accountability and Disclosure: Fighting the Toxic Legacy of Commercial Tobacco

The Policy Research Center’s Annual Symposium on Tobacco and the Environment raises awareness for World No Tobacco Day and provides an opportunity for researchers and community groups to share their work in tobacco policy. 

This free event will feature guest speakers, panelist discussions and poster presentations. Environmentalists, students, researchers, and tobacco control advocates from around California can attend in-person and virtually.

The 2026 Symposium will take place on May 29th from 8:30 am – 2:30 pm PT at the Southeastern Live Well Center: 5101 Market Street, San Diego, CA 92114.
