The LEAD project believes passionately in advocating for health equity and environmental justice for low-income people, and in communities of color. They do so by: pushing back against targeted tobacco product pricing, growing community advocates from local youth, and developing non-traditional partnerships with city planners. They know that innovative approaches to achieving health equity, like addressing tobacco use in the city planning process and collaborating with Black Students Unions, will help us to uplift our North State communities. LEAD is a project of the California Health Collaborative.
